It's exciting to reach this milestone! What started off with 30 participating visual artists for a special showing in the legendary JVC Jazz Festival (lasting for eight years) and presenting over 100 artists per show., we are happy to reach our 20h year of celebrating visual arts and jazz music (and my 35th year of advocating for the visual side of jazz).
The festival will kick off with our 7th Annual Visual Arts and Jazz Day(tm) on June 9th and June 10th 2023 and in July with our 4th Annual Jazz By The Water(tm) concert series on Governor's Island. Recently, we were excited to present a wonderful celebration of Jazz, Storytelling, and Poetry at the St. Agnes Library as we continue our mission of celebrating visual arts and jazz.
